This Privacy Notice has been prepared by Özel Dent Laracity Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Polikliniği (“Clinic”, “Dent Laracity”) as data controller under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and related secondary legislation. It also aims to inform international patients in a clear and transparent manner.

2. Categories of personal data
- Identity: name, surname, ID/passport number, date of birth, nationality
- Contact: phone, email, address, messaging details
- Health data (special category): medical history, diagnosis, treatment plans, imaging, prescriptions and clinical records
- Financial: payment and invoicing records (full card numbers are not stored)
- Technical / security: IP address, cookies, device/browser data, logs
- Marketing preferences: where consent is given
- Visual/audio: CCTV where applicable; before/after photos, videos or testimonials only with explicit consent
3. Purposes of processing
- Planning and providing dental diagnosis, treatment and follow-up
- Appointment, consultation, patient coordination and transfer services
- Meeting legal/administrative duties in international health tourism
- Responding to enquiries via website forms, phone, email or WhatsApp
- Billing, accounting and contractual processes
- Quality, complaint and patient-satisfaction management
- Information security and fraud prevention
- Publishing testimonials / before-after content where you have given consent
- Retention and disclosure obligations under applicable law
4. Legal bases
Processing is carried out under KVKK Articles 5 and 6, including: legal obligation; performance of a contract; legitimate interests (without harming your fundamental rights); processing of health data by persons under confidentiality for medical diagnosis/treatment; and your explicit consent where required (e.g. marketing or public testimonials).
5. Collection methods
Data may be collected in person at the clinic, by phone/WhatsApp, email, website forms, appointment systems, imaging devices, CCTV and other digital channels, by automated or non-automated means.
6. Recipients
Where necessary and proportionate, data may be shared with competent public authorities, health-tourism platforms/processes required by law, laboratories and clinical partners, and IT/hosting/CRM/legal/accounting providers. Cross-border transfers are performed only in accordance with KVKK.
7. Retention
Data are retained for the periods required by law and for as long as necessary for the purposes above, then deleted, destroyed or anonymised.
8. Your rights
Under KVKK Article 11 you may request access, correction, deletion/destruction, information about transfers, objection to automated outcomes adverse to you, and compensation for unlawful processing. 9. Consent-based activities
Marketing messages and publication of reviews or before/after images require your separate explicit consent, which you may withdraw at any time without affecting your right to receive treatment.
